ZENFLY
11, NEW STREET, PORTHMADOG, GWYNEDD LL49 9ED: 01766 513872 : E-bost: aeram@aeram.freeserve.co.uk The year 2000 for AERAM and his band ZENFLY The year
2000 proved to be a good one for AERAM and his band ZENFLY. In addition to performing in venues throughout Wales they appeared at two of Wales's biggest festivals. 'Y SESSIWN FAWR' (The big music festival) at Dolgellau,
Gwynedd, N, Wales and the 'EISTEDDFOD' at Llanelli. They had also been invited to appear at a third major Festival, 'Y GWYNIAID' (The White Fish) held annually at Bala, Gwynedd in North Wales but, unfortunately, they
had already been booked, on that date, for another venue. The band have also performed on a number of
T.V. programmes and have had a lot of airplay in Wales as well as in Canada and the States where their support is fast growing. They were chosen to represent Wales in the M.O.T.R. (Music of the River) festival held in Jacksonville, Florida in November and as a result of this, a Los Angeles company have
expressed an interest in the production of a video of the band performing live. A few days prior to Xmas,
'GOLWG' a prestigious glossy Welsh language magazine commissioned AERAM to compose the music and lyrics for a Xmas 2000 song. AERAM produced a simple acoustic composition, which was placed on the magazine's web site and
could be accessed throughout the world on Boxing Day. This was an historical event and was reported as such on hourly news items, as the first time that this had ever been done in Wales.
The band's aim in 2001 is to expand on the success of the year 2000. They are now seeking experienced management and promotion and an
active label that will be able to produce at least two albums of their compositions during the year.
Numbers from their last C.D. album 'Nostradamus' can be listened to on their website at: http://www.MP3.com/Zenfly. ZENFLY's next performance will be at 'Y Ring' (Brondanw Arms) Llanfrothen, Gwynedd on Jan 13, 2001. Also, they are now in the process of filling their 'gig diary'
for 2001. If you want an electrifying lively performance, give Aeram a call on 01766 513872. |
