To Read the Site News for 2000, CLICK HERE August 27th 2001 Well, the site continues to flourish, with many new people and bands
joinig, and a steady flow off surfers from around the world. We should hopefully be having some new reviews soon from potential new reviewers. I have not been able to do do a full mp3 review for the best part of a year
now, due to other commitments, but saying that, i still review any demos or singles that get sent to us as and when they arrive. New Welsh Music is attracting the right kind of peole. I was recently
contacted by A&R at Nude Records (Suede, LowGold, Black Box Recorder) for some recommendations for bands they should be checking out. I won't mention no names, but I did nominate a good few bands. If Nude Records
contact you, then you know who pointed them in your direction! Looking for some stylish garments? Cheeck out the hyper cool New Welsh Music Dot Com goodies available from American site June 21st 2001 Right, getting
loads of little niggly things sorted out on the site, and slightly making things different to aid navigation. Still no time to do any MP3 reviews, and the only reviews I'm pledged to do are of the ones you lovely people
out there send me on CD. Can't stop, spread the word! May 27th 2001 Ooops! Been a good old while since I left you any joyous news here.... Anyways, life has been mental busy
for me recently, and I have not been able to devote as much time to the site as I would like! Its hard work trying to fit everything in sometimes, but I will endevour to do my best for you all. As such I haven't been
able to write any new mp3 reviews recently, but I really gagging to do some soon, so fingers crossed! Anyway, we are getting visitors from all around the world, and the numbers are slowly increasing and
staying steady. We are almost a year old now, so in the grand scheme of things we ain't doing to bad.... Our list of members have grown incredibly recently, and there seems to be a lot of fresh new talent emerging and
making it through! I've now split the listing in pages up, as the one single one was getting to long, and taking ages to load. I've added a new page for anyone out there who want's to try and earn a few
pence whilst on line also, if you are interested, then have a look at the Anyway, got to go and get the site uploaded! Cheers for everyone who
has participated in making this a small success since its inception! January 28/01/01 A good new page now added, with January 19/01/01 A big welcome onboard to
our new reviewer, Anita Bhagwandas! Read all about her in the review section, looking forward to getting the first reviews in soon! January 07/01/01 There has been a good
response after the double page spread we had in the 'Wales on Sunday' Newspaper. A number of new bands have joined the site, and hopefully we have picked up a bit more interest from other quarters. The 'Wales on Sunday'
people have mentioned they may turn to me for help in the future, so hopefully a fateful ally has been made in the press quarters! I've plenty more tips and ideas for this New Year, so hopefully it will be an even more
successful one than last.
